Local History

History Room

After sponsoring a written history of the Township of Wyckoff, the Friends of the Library were inspired to create the Wyckoff History Room. The upstairs conference room in the library was furnished with shelves, display cases and file cabinets. It contains books, Wyckoff News microfilm (1928-1992), memorabilia, pictures, newspaper articles, video and audio tape cassettes that relate to the history of the town and the State of New Jersey. Access to the room and the collection is available through the library reference staff.

The History Room is primarily used as a quiet, shared study space. Read the policy here. If you’d like to reserve the History Room for a meeting, click here for more information.
