Patron Rules of Conduct – Health Emergency Addendum

For the safety of all our patrons and staff the following policies take effect immediately. These policies are designed to mitigate germ spread and provide the safest possible environment for all of our visitors. Non-compliance will result in patrons exiting the building.

  1. All visitors and employees must wear a mask while inside the Wyckoff Library. Hands, shirts, or other clothing are not acceptable face coverings. If you forget your mask, staff can provide one. Staff will offer doorside pickup and online access for patrons who are unwilling or unable to comply with the code.
  2. Family groups should stay together. Children aged ten and under must be attended by a responsible caregiver (age 18 or over) at all times while in the library. Children aged eleven and twelve must have a responsible caregiver (or older sibling age 18 or over) present in the building.
  3. Public computer sessions are available on a first come first serve basis. If all computers are in use and a waitlist develops, the first person on will be asked to cease their session.
  4. No food.
  5. Outside furniture may not be brought into the Library.

All other patron rules remain in effect. The Health Emergency Addendum will be reviewed at each regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting.
