The Circulation Staff at Wyckoff Library welcomes you!

Library Cards

A valid library card must be presented to borrow materials. All Wyckoff residents are eligible for a library card. Children are eligible to have their own library card after they enter 1st grade.

Register for a library card either on-line or in-person. If you’re new to BCCLs, please register on-line located at wyckofflibrary.org or at www.BCCLs.org. If you’ve had a library card in another BCCLs town, please visit us in-person to complete a registration card. In order to register for a card, valid identification with a Wyckoff address is required. Driver’s license or utility bills are accepted as ID.

Patrons must renew their cards every three years by showing Wyckoff identification. If you lose your card, the cost of a replacement is $3.

If you work in Wyckoff and live in a town not in BCCLs you may be eligible for a courtesy library card. Please contact the library for further details.

Please note, your card will be blocked if your privilege expires, you owe $10 or more in fines or you have an outstanding number of overdues.

Materials

LOAN PERIODS

All books, audiobooks, music CDs = 3 weeks,
except if marked 14 days (high-demand)
DVDs = 7 days
TV DVDs = 21 days
Magazines = 1 week (recent issues do not circulate)
Reference books and newspapers do not circulate.

Items can be renewed if there are no reserves, except for certain high-demand bestsellers.
Telephone & online renewals permitted on all items except NEW DVDs.

NUMBER OF ITEMS BORROWED
Maximum of 50 items allowed per patron record.
Following restrictions apply:

3 Books in the same subject area
10 Music CDs
10 Audiobooks
10 DVDs

RESERVE REQUESTS
Patrons may reserve 5 items/day (online or in person)
Leaving for vacation or business, please reserve upon return.

FINES
Books, audio books, Playaways & CDs – 10 cents/day ($5/item max.)
7-day Books –  20 cents/day (no max.)
Videos/DVDs – $1/day ($10 max.)
Children’s CD-ROMS – $1/day ($10 max.)

Overdue notices are sent out beginning 3 weeks after an item is due. Patrons are responsible for lost or damaged items.
