The Wyckoff Library has a wide variety of items for Wyckoff cardholders to borrow including STEM kits, lawn games, car tools, video equipment, WiFi hotspots, board games, and more. This Library of Things is offered in support of our mission, “To enrich the lives of all residents, encouraging them to connect, discover, learn and create.” Please read our lending policy for these items here.

Atari Flashback 9 Gold

Board Games

Azul

Artfully embellish the walls of your palace by drafting the most beautiful tiles. Azul is a tile-placement game in which players compete for the highest score by claiming tiles and arranging them on their board to score points. For 2-4 players ages 8 and up.

Betrayal at House on the Hill

Players explore a haunted mansion of their own ‘design’, encountering spirits and frightening omens that foretell their fate. Secretly, one of the characters betrays the rest of the party, and the innocent members of the party must defeat the traitor in their midst before it’s too late! For 3-6 players ages 12 and up.

Catan

Picture yourself in the era of discoveries: after a long voyage of great deprivation, your ships have finally reached the coast of an uncharted island. Its name shall be CATAN! But other fearless seafarers have also landed on the shores of CATAN: the race to settle the island has begun. For 3-4 players ages 10 and up.

Catan Junior

Catan Junior lets younger players experience the world of Catan by introducing a simpler playing style, taking place on a ring of tropical isles—including the mysterious Spooky Island, home of the Ghost Captain. It’s a great family strategy board game for 2-4 players ages 6 and up.

Chicken Cha Cha Cha

Each chicken has to catch each of their opponents and get their tail feathers. The first chicken to have all tail feathers is the winner! But only a chicken who knows what is in the chicken yard will be able to catch the others and win the game. A creative memory game. For 2-4 players ages 4 and up.

Codenames

Teams compete to see who can make contact with all of their agents first using one-word clues that point to words on the board. Avoid picking the other team’s words, or the assassin. For 2-8 players ages 10 and up.

Forbidden Island

Work together to keep the island from sinking while trying to collect treasures and items. As the game progresses more and more island tiles sink and become unavailable, and the pace increases. For 2-4 players ages 10 and up.

Fuse

Intruders have made their way onto your ship, and their goal is total destruction! More than twenty bombs have been detected onboard, and the countdown has begun. Your elite Bomb Defusal Team (BDT) has been called upon to neutralize the threat. For 1-5 players ages 10 and up.

Guess in 10

Ask up to 10 questions to guess the animal on the card. Think hard, ask good questions, use your clue cards wisely and be the first person to win seven game cards! For 2-6 players ages 6 and up.

Hisss

Match colors and make snakes from heads to tails. Long snakes, short snakes, purple, yellow and rainbow snakes. Finish a snake and add it to your snake pit. The player with the most snakes at the end of the game wins. For 2-5 players ages 4 and up.

Hoot Owl Hoot

Work together to help the owls fly back to their nest before the sun comes up. For 2-4 players ages 4 and up.

King of Tokyo

Play as mutant monsters, gigantic robots, and strange aliens and battle others to destroy Tokyo or become the last one standing. For 2-6 players ages 8 and up.

King’s Road

Win favor with the king by competing for influence across his provinces as he travels along the road that connects all the major landmarks within his territory. For 2-5 players ages 10 and up.

Martian Chess

A fast and easy to learn Chess-style game where ownership of pieces is determined not by color but by location on the gameboard. For 2-4 players ages 8 and up.

Marvel Dice Throne

A fast-playing game of skilled card play and dice manipulation supporting multiple modes of play, including 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 2v2v2, or free-for-all. Play as one of eight of Marvel’s most famous heroes including Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Scarlet Witch, Loki, Thor, Doctor Strange, and Miles Morales Spider-man. For 2-6 players ages 8 and up.

Monkey Around

Get ready to get up and move! Choose from 40 cards that prompt players to do movements together – from hugs, to high fives, to simple skills like balancing, hopping, and marching. Included in the game is a bean bag banana that adds to the fun and learning. For ages 2 and up.

One Night Ultimate Werewolf Daybreak

A fast 10 minute game where everyone gets a hidden role, each with a special ability. Players will use their special abilities to learn about or cause trouble in the village. With the dawning of morning, your village will decide who among them is a werewolf…because all it takes is finding one werewolf to win! For 3-6 players ages 8 and up.

Outfoxed

Mrs. Plumpert’s prized pot pie has gone missing and it’s up to you to crack the case! Move around the board to gather clues and then use the special evidence scanner to rule out suspects. You’ll have to work together quickly because the guilty fox is heading for the exit! For 2-4 players ages 5 and up.

Pandemic

In this game, several virulent diseases have broken out simultaneously all over the world! Players are disease-fighting specialists whose mission is to treat disease hotspots while researching cures for each of four plagues before they get out of hand. For 2-4 players ages 8 and up.

Parks

This cozy and relaxing game brings the majesty of nature and the outdoors to your family in a 30-60 minute playtime. Fun and educational for kids and adults. For 1-5 players ages 10 and up.

The Princes of Florence

Attract artisans and scholars to your palazzo by building and landscaping. Over seven rounds, players attempt to score points in various ways, with most points being earned by playing profession cards to generate “work points”, which can be exchanged for money or victory points. For 1-5 players ages 12 and up.

Queendomino

Build up the most prestigious kingdom by claiming wheat fields, forests, lakes, grazing grounds, marshes, and mountains. Your knights will bring you riches in the form of coins — and if you make sure to expand the towns on your lands, you will make new buildings appear, giving you opportunities for new strategies. For 2-4 players ages 8 and up.

Rat-a-Tat Cat

Get rid of the rats and go for the cats! In Rat-a-Tat Cat, less is always better, and you want to go out with the lowest score. Can you remember the numbers on the other players’ cards? Sharpen your memory and your timing, and have fun with the cool cats and bad rats of Rat-a-Tat Cat. For 2-6 players ages 6 and up.

Rummikub

Be the first to play every tile on your rack on a board that is always changing as players adjust the tiles on the able. It combines luck and strategy and it changes quickly so every player has a chance to win until the very end. For 2-4 players ages 5 and up.

Rush Hour

The player is a traffic cop in the Rush Hour Traffic Jam Puzzle where the objective is to get the red car off the road. Move the vehicles one by one (obey those traffic laws!) until the red car can escape the traffic jam. There are four levels of difficulty. For 1+ players ages 8 and up.

Salem 1692

Uncover the witches hiding among the townsfolk before they turn the town against you. The year is 1692, and it is a perilous time to live in the town of Salem, Massachusetts. One wrong step, or one misplaced accusation, and you could be the next witch to hang. For 4-12 players ages 12 and up.

7 Wonders

You are a leader of one of the seven greatest cities in Antiquity. Gather resources, develop commercial routes, and affirm your military supremacy in order to build your Wonder of the World before the other players. For 2-7 players ages 10 and up.

Sheriff of Nottingham

To sell your goods in Nottingham you must first get their goods through the city gate, which is under the watch of the sheriff. Should you play it safe with legal goods and make a profit, or risk it all by sneaking in illicit goods? Each turn a different player is the sheriff and if they catch a trickster or liar, they may confiscate goods for themselves! For 3-5 players ages 14 and up.

Skunk Bingo

Spin the spinner, then place a creature into the log. If any pop out the other side, add them to your board. Don’t let the skunk nose his way in line or else he’s sure to make a stink! Be the first to fill your board and enjoy the sweet smell of victory. For 2-4 players ages 3 and up.

Sleeping Queens

Rise and shine! The Pancake Queen, the Ladybug Queen, and ten of their closest friends have fallen under a sleeping spell and it’s your job to wake them up. For 2-5 players ages 8 and up.

Splendor

Play as Renaissance merchants in a race to grab gems, acquire property, and please the nobility and earn prestige points. For 2-4 players ages 10 and up.

Sushi Go Party

A super-fast card game where you grab the best combination of sushi dishes as they whiz by. Score points for collecting the most sushi rolls or making a full set of sashimi. But be careful which sushi you allow your friends to take it might be just what they need to beat you! For 2-8 players ages 8 and up.

The Thing: The Boardgame

The official board game based on the cult horror movie. One player is The Thing, and they’re trying to infect the other players and either prevent the survivors from escaping the base, or try to escape with them by behaving as a human. For 1-8 players ages 14 and up.

Ticket to Ride

A cross-country train adventure in which players collect and play matching train cards to claim railway routes connecting cities throughout North America. The longer the routes, the more points they earn. For 2-5 players ages 8 and up.

Ticket to Ride: First Journey

The perfect introduction to the Ticket to Ride game series for young explorers where players collect train cards, claim routes on the map, and try to connect the cities shown on their tickets to achieve victory. For 2-4 players ages 6 and up.

Tranquility

Jump on board the good ship Tranquility and set sail for paradise in this co-operative card game where players must fill the sea with islands and guide the ship home before any player runs out of cards. Note that in the world of Tranquility, the only way to play is in silence. For 1-5 players ages 8 and up.

Wingspan

Play as bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your network of wildlife preserves, each with their own actions. Artwork features 170 birds illustrated by Beth Sobel, Natalia Rojas, and Ana Maria Martinez. For 1-5 players ages 10 and up.

Zombie Kidz Evolution

You’re at school when zombies start to attack. Players move through rooms and entryways to eliminate zombies. To win, players need to lock each of the four entryways before zombies overrun the school. For 2-4 players ages 7 and up.
