Private Study Rooms
The Wyckoff Library’s study rooms are intended for collaborative work, short meetings, quiet study, and research by individuals and pairs.
Three (3) enclosed study rooms are located on the main floor between the Adult Fiction and Non-Fiction sections. These can be used by individuals or pairs (2 people) for quiet study, online/phone meetings, or by ESL tutors volunteering through LVPV. Businesses for which a fee is required, including paid tutoring, is not permitted.
Reservations
-Wyckoff cardholders over 13 years-old with a library card may reserve a study room for two hours per day, up to a week in advance. An individual/group is limited to 4 hours per week. ESL tutors volunteering through LVPV are given priority.
-Multiple rooms cannot be simultaneously booked by the same person or group.
-When a group uses a study room, the group as a whole is considered the user and may use the room for two hours per day.
– Reservations will be held for 15 minutes, after which time another individual or group may reserve or use the room.
-If you do not have a Wyckoff card you are welcome to use the rooms on a walk-in basis, but cannot reserve them in advance.
-After your reserved time, you may remain in the study room until the next reservation or walk-in request. Use is limited to a maximum of 2 hours per day, 4 hours per week.

Room Use Expectations
-Children under the age of 13 may use a study or the quiet study room only if they are accompanied by an adult over 18 at all times.
-Speaking volume should comply with the Patron Code of Conduct so as not to disturb others using the library.
-No food is permitted, but covered drinks are allowed.
-Only erasable markers provided by the library can be used on the whiteboard.
-Study rooms close 15 minutes before the library closes.
-Penalty for Misuse of Library Facilities
-Violations of the Patron Code of Conduct will result in the forfeiture of study room use for one month.
Cancellation Policy
-To ensure access and the best use of the study rooms, we kindly request your adherence to our cancellation policy. We ask that you notify us of a cancellation at least 4 hours in advance. To cancel or reschedule, please go to https://bccls.libcal.com/reserve/wyckoff or call us at 201-891-4866, option 2. We understand schedules change and unforeseen circumstances can arise, but repeated failure to arrive for your reservation or notify us of a cancellation may result in a restriction on usage of the study rooms. Exceptions to our policy are made on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of library staff.
Penalty for Misuse of Library Facilities
Violations of the Patron Code of Conduct will result in the forfeiture of study room use for one month.
